Caution: |
This section allows you to configure the way older file versions are handled.
Choose what to do with older file versions:
( ) Do not save older file versions - Discard those, i.e. allow them to be overwritten.
( ) Save older file versions to the same destination folder - Rename them (see below) and keep where they are.
( ) Save older file versions to a separate archive folder - Rename them (see below) and move to a designated folder.
Keep folder structure - Check this if you include subfolders in Source and want them to be mirrored in this designated archive folder.Number of older file versions to be saved - You can specify how many, if not all, older file versions you would like to keep.
( ) Save all previous versions - Keep all non-current file versions if you think you may still need them.
( ) Save the last ___ version(s) of modified files - Specify the number of most recent older versions to be saved.
GrandBackup will rename older files as follows. "FileName.TXT", for example, will be named "FileName (Version 2001-11-14 21-12-12).TXT", "FileName (Version 2001-12-04 12-34-56).TXT" and so on (using the template "FileName (Version YYYY-MM-DD HH-NN-SS).TXT", where the 14 digits represent the current date and time calculated to the second).
